Project 1- Auditorium : A Case Study on Acoustic Design

An auditorium is a special room built to enable an audience to hear and watch performances at venues such as theatres and music halls. A successful design of auditoriums muchly depends on its acoustic design which includes the auditorium layout plus absorption materials used. It is essential to preserve and enhance the desired sound and to eliminate noise and undesired sound. Quoting a sentence from Rem Koolhas, "The great problem of the concert hall is that the shoebox is the ideal shape for acoustics but that no architect worth their names wants to build a shoebox." Such irony statement reflects me on the contemporary perception of architecture.

Project 2 - KAC : hangingclouds, lighting design

This project aims to integrate the understanding of the principles of lighting design in the context of Kajang Heritage Town. It will encompass on artificial and daylighting systems by implementing the PSALI design strategies of the proposed building which functions as a performing art centre located in the heart of the Kajang ageing town with its hidden cultural and heritage essence, waiting for the people to emerge, to proof the strength of Kajang culture and heritage value.
