WHITE SHADES
Residential Project - Home for 5
Location: Kuantan, Malaysia
Site Area: 328 sqm
GFA: 390sqm
Status: Ongoing

On a plot of land open up to a corner side with 20 ft road, with challenges to address the conflicting qualities of the house - to have a feeling of openness while having a tight estimated budget to refurbish. Extending the side and rear massing of the house, the design itself, seek to create a humble attachment that blend in the existing genius loci - one that is both humble and eye-catching in a steady growing in time.

Walls delineate boundaries, but the shades of white angle corner, creates a lil hint of curiosity while walking through the garden. Somehow, the attached mass speaks with the landscape and blurring gap with the existing building itself.

Intended to portraying the feeling of peace and privacy, at the same time, as a backdrop highlighting and enjoying the living standard of the family.

Promoting a relatively Biophilic Living, encouraging the intertwine of living between users and surroundings.
A Single Family Living House in Kuantan City which made a perfect location for gathering.
