Project 1- Exploring Urban Landscape
We were required to out performed an urban site analysis at any street in KL region. Selected street will be Bukit Bintang street as t is one of the most fascinating city in Malaysia country with dense of high rise building living contemporary with domestic buildings and people. We went for few site visits and it's a refreshing experiences indeed. Thus, we compiled our findings into a report (attachment regarding the site visit report).
Project 2- Urban Design Project
A continuous project from previous thorough site analysis and site synthesis, we were required to carry out a design solution based on certain analysis we did and improve it to be a real city for people to use, not just vehicular activities. For my project, i chose the most hectic intersection junction located at the transportation hub of the city. It is challenging yet fun to design something people need in order to utilize the public spaces with natural air rather than indoor spaces with chilling air conditioning.
